Ooft. That's some price for two broken old cars.
Otherwise I'd be genuinely interested in a 240 with a v8, even if it needed a lot of work. I'd be cheaper just putting a v8 in my own car (1UZ anyone?) |

Thinking about it, I would probably prefer something like the 5 cylinder 2.5 diesel from the V70 TDI. It would make the 240 a real daily driver car with plenty of oomph and very low running costs.
