1986 740GL For Slae
This is an excellent opportunity to purchase an absolute immaculate 740GL.
The car is a 'D' reg 1986 model, with 91K miles has 12 months tax and approx 6 months MoT. It has been meticulously cared for during my fathers ownership of 24 years. The car is totally genuine all original panels and paint work. If you our interested in this stunning car I would be pleased to answer any questions you may have as I am selling on behalf of my father. Hope you like the pictures taken today. |

She's stunning and an absolute credit to your father.
For the benefit of those interested in buying her, do you have a price in mind? |

Thanks for the kind comments.
For those who have sent me a PM apologies that it would appear that I haven't replied as when I do I receive this automated message. Sorry, you can only send messages to the Administrators group until you have 30 posts. Yes, I have a price in mind, however I am currently seeking guidance to ensure the price asked is sensible and realistic. I will confirm tomorrow. In the mean time feel free to make a offer? Kind regards Paul |

That is a seriously clean car, mate.
A total credit to your dad. If it was a GLE and had leather, I would have been seriously interested in this one. Good luck with the sale. Gary

One kinda similar to this sold on ebay about a year ago for £1700! It was a 'barn find' 740 GL with the later 940 front end, in silver with about 36k miles.
This white one is more desirable though. |

Thanks for your kind comments folks.
Perhaps I was being to optimistic with my first price, but I would have thought a figure of around 1250 was a respectable one. Its a lot of car in tremendous condition for that. But I hear what you are saying If I had the space (garage) I would keep it myself Thanks for the advice regarding advertising on 'car and classic'. I will certainly do that and see what happens. |

Very nice example there, I hope someone takes it for a fair price. If I weren't haemorrhaging money with my current 940 I would have it. I really love the 700s personally.
