I'm getting a combined average of 46mpg out of my trusty 1.9d. Does a lot of motorway whilst commuting to Manchester from Blackburn. Currently sitting around 195,000 miles on the odometer. Fresh oil every 5000 miles.

(as per manual calculations as I don't have the fancy MPG/temp gauge on this car.)
