Hi ady
Have to ask a few qs... if the car is 16months old and 6k miles is it not under warranty? - if so why are you paying for diagnostics? Have the dealers acknowledged that the noises are there and are unable to resolve them or are they saying there are no noises? have you been out for a drive with the dealers techs so you know they have the correct noises, ie the ones that worry you? A good tech would be able to narrow down issues from the sounds pretty closely...my approach would be ... get them to tell you what they hear and what it means, ie possible causes for the noises and order of likely hood. for this you'd need to speak to the tech not just the guys (or gals) on the service reception.
