Default Water in passenger foot well

Discovered water in the passenger foot well this morning. Assumed it was a spilt drink (my daughter often travels in this seat with water bottles etc). After driving around this afternoon the problem has got worse, carpet totally soaked through on passenger side, none on drivers. I cannot find water anywhere other than the floor, so assuming it's coming from underneath?

Have absolutely no car knowledge whatsoever, so make any answers idiot proof! Would appreciate any pointers. Thanks

I had same problem - dealer reckoned it was seal around windscreen. they resealed it and it seems ok for now.

Hello Rich,
If it's got a sunroof - get the drain channels checked out too - I believe these have a habit of diverting water into the footwell if they get blocked or become detached. Not from personal experience - but there's been quite a few posts about it previously.

Cheers
Ian.

Cool

if you've got a sun roof, it's an easy resolve. take the handles off on the inside of the window pillars and take the panels off, you can see the pipes running down, these lead into a grommet into the inner wing, these will be blocked , just simply clean them out.
