Default Driver Mode at Start Up

2019 V60 owner……..on start up the driving mode is always set as “comfort”
Is there a way to reset this?

Yeah I agree, it is a bit annoying that it doesn't select the last used Drive Mode.

The Certificate of Conformity is issued based on the emissions in comfort mode.

One could always slap a couple of boards of MDF together, hinged in the middle - strap 'em over the driver's seat, all the discomfort you require from the get go - perhaps hammer a few rusty nails through the boards if they're not uncomfy enough.

There are cars that either save the last used drive mode or let you set the primary one, so probably Volvo to blame rather than the emissions regulations. Maybe it falls under their usual mantra of not enough people requesting it

I must admit Volvo appear to do things or set things up that aren't in line with the general pack of manufacturers. I have the passenger mirror set to lower on reverse........it goes too far down for my liking and not what I've experienced before
