Default PV wings wanted

Hi. PV544 wings wanted, steel or fibreglass, good used. Also, other repair panels required: drivers floor pan, boot jack well, boot lower lip panel that meets the jack well panel on it's lower return edge.

Interior trim also needed.

Thanks, Vincent

If you are serious about redoing the floor in your PV, make the pans yourself. I have not been impressed with any of the commerically available floorpans for a PV. All I have seen are flat (even the rear section) with a few ribs rolled into them. I did my own drawings of them and had them made locally to match the originals better than the after market ones.

I was happy with the seat supports and rear trunk parts I got from VP.

See the attached photos for a step by step of how I replaced the floorboards in the PV I'm rebuilding. I wanted it to match the originals and I wanted it done right.

Have you checked you've got enough clearance for the handbrake cables? Those are the reason the rearmost part of the floorpan is asymmetrical.

I keep forgetting to post a reply to the handbrake question...

Yes, there is some clearance between my floor pans and the hand brake cable. It's only about 2mm when the hand brakes is engauged with an old cable so the adjustment is really far forward(the worst case scenario that I could come up with).

I got another 544 I will refloorboard in the next month or two. When I form up those pans, I will move the depression in the pans away from the center of the car by like 3/8" (10mm) for a bit more clearance.
