WANTED: Volvo 460 2.0 CD

Looking for a 460 2.0 CD - Manual with sunroof, air-con, all the CD stuff, in a dark color

I will pay beyond market value (but not silly money) if the right thing comes along!

I have looked on auto-trader and they all seem to be auto or in a hideous colour!

Hi

I have a 1995/N Volvo 460 CD 5 Speed Manual

I'm a trader and have just taken this in P/X, I checked the forum rules and I think I'm allowed to reply to your request?? If not I understand if this is deleted.

N209 OJU
Registered 30/10/1995
Dark Metallic Red

2 Owners from new, last owner since 1998
Showing 175k, but the speedo seems to have stopped working around June last year.
Full Stamped Service History
September 2011 MOT
2 x Orignal Keys + 2 x Original Remote Locking Fobs

Full Dark Grey Leather, Heated Front Seats, Air Conditioning (Full Working Order), 4 X Electric Windows, Electric Sunroof, Alloy Wheels, In Car Phone, 'Info Centre' On Board Computer (Fully Operational), Remote Central Locking, Multiple Air Bag System, Wood Interior Trims, Original Philips Radio/Cassette (Display Not Working)

Bodywork is very straight aside from some rust bubbles on the rear arches, and a small scuff on the corner of the rear bumper

I was shocked at how well this car drove, engine and gearbox are a pleasure.

ABS light has come on a couple of times but seems to be staying off at the moment (possible sensor?)

The electric sunroof works fine but is a little bit sticky when closing and just needs a helping hand.

Haven't really got a clue what it's worth, so if it sounds of interest to you get in contact and we can try and work something out.

It is the 2.0 Petrol engine by the way.

Sorry also forgot to mention it has the original Philips 6 CD Changer in the boot too.

Hi, thanks for your reply, unfortunately a couple of weeks to late

i have just bought an S40 due to the lack of 460s available!

as to price and considering your a trader - I'm only guessing but I would pay around £350-£400 maybe more depending on condition but as it has done 175K+ miles, its a bit of an anomaly to judge a price,the interior alone might be worth that to the right buyer. Only thing that would put me off is the 175k+ miles. so that might be the same for most people.

Once I've had it cleaned and taken some photos I'll post a link on this thread.

Yeah I was thinking somewhere in the region of £400-£500 would probably be about right.

Yeah, you might find a buyer on eBay, anyone's guess. If someone's looking for it they'll find it.

I would be interested too see images

make sure to include some good interior images of dash and such, might give an idea of condition.
