Default Xc60 tear dif issue

Hi , ive a xc60 2014 d5 the problem is on take off it sounds like 1 rear wheel is spinning on gravel even though your on tarmac . A mechanic looked and said its an internal fault with the haldex . Any one got a rough idea of price to fix ?

you need to get it diagnosed properly first , all it does is connect the propshaft to the axle or disconnect the propshaft from the axle. it is not responsible for one wheel spinning unless one tyre is on sand etc.

Hi mate , I didn't mean it was spinning it just sounds like it is ie just trying to describe the noise it makes when pulling away . The diagnostics say transmission component slipping
