The anchor clasp has started to be a bit "sticky" when releasing my belt. Can this be cleaned or isit best to just replace the clasp ? Is it a difficult task ?

A squirt of penetrating fluid or silicone spray may help. Worked for me when mine was sticking.

Such liquid lubricants may attract and hold dust which could build up to clog the mechanism. Try using PTFE (Teflon) Dry Lubricant spray which will coat the mechanism with a very fine layer of PTFE dust that lubricates without holding contaminants. I bought a can from Lidl for about £2. It goes on wet but the carrier solvent evaporates leaving the surfaces dry.
