Default Speed Camera Alert - turning off in France?

Hi all
I can see how to turn off the Audio alert for speed cameras via the settings menu on my 2018 V60 but I'm unsure if that satisfies the requirement in France not to have any form of speed camera alert system. We're off at the weekend to Normandy and wondered if there is a way to disable to speed camera function?
Thanks
Rod

On my XC90 with Sensus the warnings are disabled automatically.

Thanks - how can I check whether my car has that system of automatic disabling?

Nobody will ever check if you have disabled it or not.
Nor will they check if you have headlight deflectors, high vis jackets, a breathalyser, a first aid kit, warning triangle etc

I don't think there's a way of checking in advance of travelling but if your car is Sensus based (i.e. is the 'new/current' design) then I'd be 99% sure that it'll behave as mine does.

I assume that the satnav maps for France simply don't include any speed camera locations therefore don't get displayed. Might be worth updating to the latest maps anyway.

Thanks again.
I've just spoken to the service department at my local dealer and he confirms that the speed camera detection is automatically disabled in France - all clever stuff.

Sensus won't display any speed cameras in France because it is against the law there, and this information is not available for this country.
I have driven many miles there and have never seen any camera warning on my dashboard.
I can't recall exactly, but I think there is an option to enable speed limit warnings in Sensus under the Navigation menu.

There is such an option.
I remember Volvo did some work to become compliant when the French made this change to their legislation.

Warnings don't come up in Ireland either.
