Default V50 Aux Input (sorry!)

I'm really sorry I have a feeling I'm being a bit of noob and asking a really common question here, but I'm trying to work out whether it is even possible for me to add an Aux input to my new (to me) V50 that I picked up this week.

I've read various things about GROM and Denison systems but not sure if I have the right starting to point to get anything to work!

So, I have the High Performance system (so it says when it starts up) which includes an indash 6 disc CD changer.

My control panel doesn't have a 'mode' or 'aux' button just CD and AM/FM buttons.

I've read various things including you can't do it if you have the CD changer. But I can't work if they mean you can't do it and keep the CD changer, or you can't do it at all.

Any help greatly appreciated!

what year is yours . I was always told/thought the early models couldn't have it fitted due to fiber optic cables needed which the later models have as standard

It's a 2004 so that doesn't sound good

Although, I don't understand why fibre would be needed for a line in. Not doubting, just confused.
