Default Another mud flap question.

There seems to be two types for the XC90 …… one for body kit, and one for no body kit…

Does anyone know what the difference is? Is it something to do with side steps maybe? Ive got side steps.

I may just go for eBay copies… anyone ordered a set recently? Link would be great.

Thanks folks

I’m interested here too.

Tried to negotiate a set into the deal at the last minute but my dealer wasn’t having any of it and I’m not sure I want to pay Volvo OEM prices.

I bought mine over 3 years ago so not in my purchase history now but these are identical and similar price to the ones I have, for cars without body kit.

I also am interested in mud flaps, and also have the side step. I believe there were external body kits, but not sure if the side steps are logged as body kit. The photo (attached I hope!) shows that a) I need a mud flap, and b) the side step does not go to the very edge making me think we should be OK...?

Looking at your photo, the mudflaps should fit ok. Photo of my mudflaps attached, the front flap only goes to the edge of the wheel arch trim.

The body kit was made for the XC90 and was called something like ‘Urban Kit’ from memory and included cladding around the wheelarches so the standard mud flaps would not fit. If you do not have this kit then you need the standard mud flaps. The steps make no differnce at all to standard mud flap fitment - i have the steps and standard flaps on my xc90.

Ha! I do hunt out places to turn off Traction control and use the full power of 87 hp ERAD to do slow motion power slides
I might be a safe volvo family man, but my RWD days are finally back with a T8!!
