Default Remote control windows up and down

How do you activate your remote so you can roll your windows up by holding the lock button a second time. I have a 2006 volvo s40 t5. I heard you have to take it to the dealership, but is there any way to go around that? If not its really no big deal. Just curious because it would be cool being able to control the windows from my remote.

On my 2005 S40 you just hold the button for longer prob 2-3 secs when your locking or unlocking the car you don't press it twice. If you do it when locking it will close any open window/sunroof, if you do it when your unlocking it it will open all the windows.

I tried that. Still doesn't work. I think it might be because its a 2006 and apparently Volvo stopped programming the cars with that function.

Might be worth posting this up in the correct section, having the windows roll up when locking the car is a good security feature as you know that your car is properly locked.
