Any tips to removing top ball joint on an Amazon? Have removed top wishbone leaving the ball joint fastened to the cast upright, last night I removed the small clamping bolt but nothing came loose, before I start with a bit more force I thought I’d ask the Guru’s on here

If the clamp bolt is out and it's unbolted from the A arm it's only held in by friction or rust. Spray with penetrant and give it a twist. You've probably removed it by now!

I think it is straight but can't check as my spares are up in my garage.
If still a problem, did you try tapping a big screwdriver in the squeeze slot? |

Got it with a pickle fork so all good, now the new top ball joints don’t fit, the mounting holes are offset to the centre of the ball joint so it won’t sit in the locating hole, another set on the way let’s hope these fit

Two types, early ones have a grease nipple but I didn't know the bolt pattern was different.

Pretty sure the bolt patterns are marginally different, enough for them not to be interchangeable.

Interesting. Are you able to get the special ones you need? Maybe worth looking for later top A arms to make life easier in the future or perhaps even now if there is a problem with the supply of the specials. I think Top A's are easier to get than the lower ones as the later are prone to rust. Keep us advised.
