Default Retro fit V70 R seats into 1999 V70

Hi,

I have just got a 1999 0n a V reg, V70 2.5D with poverty seats in them. I have purchased a set of V70 R seats and fitted the to the car but the loom is different and now throws up SRS light and codes.

I really need the help of someone that's strong in electrics or someone that has direct experience with this conversion.

The movement of the seat works as do the heating element so that's a good start!

Help appreciated....thanks Brian.

We did something similar and from memory we connected the orange sheathed wire with brown and blue wires to the car we removed the green plug and connected brown from the seat to orange on the car and blue from the seat to black on the car cleared to codes and all was good

Hi Andrew,

Thanks for replying - I will post up some pictures of the loom on the car and seats. I had a quick look he other evening but I think the colours may be different.....hopefully pictures will give better idea of what wire to connect.

Thanks, Brian.

So the passenger seat has a sensor for the seat and the driver side has the set belt wires?

If you can see on the drivers seat I used the old green connector but the wires that Connecting too are both black.

The passenger seat has no sensor?

Hi all,

Just a quick update......got this sorted now and SRS light comes on and off like it's supposed to.

Big shout out for Lakes Autos in Bedford "Barry the ledgend!!" and a regular customer for helping getting it sorted!
