It actually looks in better nick than our similar aged first 244 did at 12 years old. Very early 2 series cars lacked front inner wing liners. As a result, both front wings perforated along the top - quite amusing in the rain. We also had the cup at the bottom of one strut rust through, resulting in an uncompressed spring, which was not so funny!
