Default Missfire codes on 96r cyl 1-3-5!

Hello

Our 96r is running with the lambda light on. Codes point to misfire on cylinders 1-3-5. There is no misfire and power is way down.

We have changed plugs, leads and distributor cap.

Codes are still there, do I need to delete them with a code reader? Or will it clear itself?

Thanks
Matt

God, i would not know where to start....
4.5.x and 5.5.x codes (one of which is assume you have) have a list as long as your arm including compression, headgasket , air leakage, dodgy fuel etc...

Having said that, i would probably be inclined to change the rotor arm and the fuel pump relay initially...

I think..!!

What colour are the spark plugs?....

That's every other cylinder! Is the coil O.K.? Not good enough to properly recharge for all cyls, so only charges every other cylinder. Hope this makes sense.
