  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default at last a 240

finally bought my first volvo today,a 1993 240se estate.
136k miles full main dealer history up to 90k.
needs a rear bumper and is leaking oil from the rocker cover but i haggled and got it for 100 quid with mot till november.
cant wait to pick it up

Welcome to the 240 clan! Oil leak should be easily sorted with anew gasket. Rear bumper - is it just the plastic cover or is the aluminium bar wrecked as well?

It should be reasonably easy to source one from a breakers.

will i need to get one that is year specific or are they interchangeable between years.

Anything from around 1984 (A) onward will fit. To be honest you are unlikly to find anything older than a 1986 car on a brakers.
