S80 2.4 petrol for sale - Y reg, high mileage but reliable

Hi

This car has been with me since July 2004 and is currently at 181,000 miles (bought at about 41,000). I would not be considering selling except my company is moving me to Germany and I am getting a new XC70.

Mileage - 181,000
MOT to August 2012
Price - £400 (ono)
Location - Wiltshire
Available - Dec 1st
Road tax - end Jan

It has been phenomenally reliable - I have serviced it regularly as required - and is still very happy to cruise up and down the motorway all day at 80 (where speed limits allow). It has let me down only once when a fanbelt broke at Heathrow.

Comes with integrated Nokia bluetooth hands free kit (but works with any Bluetooth phone)

It is a bit tatty - as follows

Rear boot - paintwork a bit dull
Petrol cap clip - loose
Passenger door - annoying rattle as clip missing - rattle stops if you put a glove between door and car as you close it - simply need to get a new clip
Driver window - opening and closing it jumps out of rubber guide sometimes
No rust at all afaik
And I think that is all that is really wrong with it
New belts at about 150,000 and 75000 miles (if memory serves me)

I have large folder of all service / MOT's / acquisition docs etc as well as full service history.

I have been offered £160 scrap - but I would hope that some Volvo club member could take it on - and get some use from it either as a main car or a parts donor.

Comes with full tank of petrol!

Identical to mine! I dont like it when people do this usually but: "If i had the room i'd snap that up" as a spares car!
