Another new map update: Version 1200 now available

I can only find Version 1196.

I experienced the same on one of the previous updates: Others said there was an update, but I could only see the older version. it sorted itself out in a day or so (or you could try using a different browser).

My car installed seamlessly over the air today so I assume it will be the latest version. I have not looked.

OTA (via Sensus) states no map updates available, at least it did when I was in it about 6am and again around noon.

I have only ever had one OTA notification in the last 12 months that a new map is available, even when there are new ones reported on the Volvo Support Web site.

Does not concern me - I have "bots" monitoring the Support site for Map updates (and Voice updates and Gracenote updates). So I get an email telling me there is a new map (or voice or Gracenote DB)

Hopefully the new A556 is now on it as it's been open most of this year, but never appeared, meaning that a major route between the M6 and M56 has been wrong and causing problems for quite a while.

Got the latest update done today. Not checked the A556, but the Queensferry crossing is still noticeable in its absence.

Some map corrections (new roads, name corrections, ...) I made on the Here web site back in June still have not made it into the latest update either - so it looks like there as a minimum 6 months (and counting) before things appear in the cars (at least for the mods I make

)

Well I'm disappointed about the Queensferry Crossing, but pleased to say that having downloaded and installed, the new A556 is now in the map

Just found this info from 2014 announcing the tie-up between Voivo & Here for maps.

It includes:

Obviously "always-fresh" and "outdated maps" are relative terms

Queensferry Crossing: Opened late Aug '17. Not in Volvo maps as of late Dec '17
A556: Opened early Mar '17, appeared in Volvo Maps mid Dec '17
Local changes to me: Modified June #17. Not in Volvo maps as of late Dec '17
