Will 850 headlight wiper arms fit 440?

Hi all

I am having a hard job to find replacement headlight wiper arms for my 1996 volvo 440

I did try my main Volvo dealer but these parts for my car are no longer available

So I did a e-bay search an found that very similar looking new headlight wiper arms are still available to buy for the volvo 850

My question is that would anyone know if the 850 headlight wiper arms would fit the 440?

I have attached a picture of the 850 headlight wiper arm available to buy on e-bay so you can see yourself.

In theory, you could fit anything, but that looks like a 400 series h/light wiper arm anyway (to me) just the dimensions and the clip for the hose might be the only problems.....

Thanks for the quick reply, The 850 wiper arm is only £12.99 so I have ordered one to take a chance to see if it will fit my 440.

If it fits I will order the other side and I am not really that worried about the water jets as long as the wiper works and it looks tidy that will do me. :-)
