  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Whats good and bad about S40 2.0D 2007?

Hi guys

I am thinking of buying a used S40 2.0D 2007 model with service history, i would like to get some opinion on this particular model.

What is good and bad also what should i look out for when buying?

All advice to buying a good car well come.

Can't go wrong. Only thing you will notice is the turbo lag. But this is very common on all 2.0d. My brothers does it and it's just how it works but it is very fast engine and his has done loads of miles with well looked after and not caused any problems. It's had 2 wheel bearings but nothing else in over 100+ thou miles! And it will do around 65 on a run! Sheffield to Cornwall and back on one tank can't be bad!
