V50 2007 2 litre, Cab heater blower fan
My cab heater blower stopped working last year, I've had my fingers moving the vanes so I know that it's free of obstructions. The fuse is fine with power to the fuse holder. All the indications on the led display point to it working indeed when the knob is turned it is possible to turn the ac on and the ac goes off when the knob is turned to the left but the blower doesn't turn.
I had an OBD" scan which said that the blower resistor is faulty; but Volvo say that there isn't a physical resistor fitted to this car. It is causing many a sleepless nights and I can't seem to get to the bottom of the problem, I would consider fitting an in line switch to get the thing working, but I don't know where or what colour the wires are; can anyone help me, |

Blower motor
I had to change my blower motor,I'm afraid it's a dashboard removal or move it back out of the way to install the new one, I found the hardest part was replacing the screws that hold the motor onto the heater unit .not the easiest of jobs but can be done outside the house, Ford Focus has the same motor if that helps
