Rear Hatch door not opening

Hi,

I bought my 2003 XC90 a few months ago and when I first had it I couldn't open the rear hatch door at all. Then I discovered that there was another switch(or something) somewhere else that I had to operate. Anyway, the rear hatch door won't open again and I have forgot how I overcame the problem last time. Can someone help?

Sure it's not just a stiff handle? Try moving the handle manually forward (towards number plate) before operating unlock button, and then try pulling handle back - If it opens, than you've probably got a "rusty spindle" up there...

I had same problem, just lubricated a plenty with plus gas, and all is well..
