Default DAB Tuning

Guys...please help. I cannot figure out how to tune the DAB. The DAB set up area I. Settings doesn't offer an update tune and in DAB mode I cannot see how to do this. One of stations I listen to is moving to another "channel" and is already available, but doesn't show up automatically. Thanks.

Also, and just a passing comment, the equivalent FM station of DAB stations sounds so much better than DAB. I have read this over in Swedespeed, and dismissed it, but the sound quality really is different and very noticeable.

Unfortunately, most DAB radio stations transmit a highly compressed digital signal to save on transmitter bandwidth (which translates to cost) and the quality suffers as a result.

It's not helped by the fact that the UK was one of the earliest adopters of DAB and we're stuck with a pretty rubbish CODEC as a result. There is now DAB+ but I don't think any UK stations use it. DAB+ uses a more efficient, up to date CODEC which achieves a higher sound quality but still using the same bit-rate as DAB.

Sound quality from DAB depends on the transmission rate of the channel.

The typical bitrate for DAB programs is only 128 kbit/s and as a result most radio stations on DAB have a lower sound quality than FM. The rate needs to be about 200 kbits or above to sound good quality.
