Default XC40 t5 recharge dissaponting

I had an xc40 t5 recharge whilst my d5 xc90 was in for service.

what a disappointment. The range on battery is abismal and begs the question of why bother. I drove as carfully as I could and only got about 10 miles from a full battery. Then about 48mpg on petrol hybrid.

So my old v90 d4 would do 55mpg. So what’s the point of the recharge?

Steve.

It panders to the whims of the Green Lobby

10 miles is poor, we have one in the family and it can do 40 kms (25 miles)on the charge, nearest town is 20 kms away and it goes in and out on electric. (mostly flat and av speed about 80 kmh (50mph)), any chance it was not fully charged ?

I can get between 20-24 miles from mine so I think the OP loaner car could not have been fully charged.
