854 T5-R For sale

This time the old girl really does have to go, i've started a new job now and I do a 50 mile round trip every day, i've had to downgrade to an Astra diesel

I did try to sell her on here back back in Aug 09' but decided to keep enjoying her as couldn't agree a price and didn't have enough interest.

- Mileage 198000
- 6x Titan 17' Alloy wheels in anthracite.

This car has really been lovingly looked after by all it's owners throughout its life as all the history shows. I am a vehicle technician, in the time i've owned her i've done

- Cambelt
- 2x Oil and filter changes
- Spark plugs
- 2x Brake fluid flush

All genuine Volvo parts, she's been one of the most reliable cars i've ever owned and olnly had to service her during my time owning.

Bad points

- Some inconsiderate arsehole caught the nearside front wheel arch just behind the indicator when I left the car parked unattended outside my aunts. No note, just a small minor dent and scratch. Not major but feel I should mention on here for any prospective buyer.
- Rear tyres are getting close to legal 1.6 limit on inside edges.
- Does use a bit of oil now, probably about one litre a month.
- A few small car park dents to the sides but nothing major.
- Small hardly noticeable scracth on the rear bumper, again nothing major.
- A/C hasn't worked since i've owned her. (never had a car with A/C so didn't bother trying to repair

Inside the car is very well looked after, the interior doesn't have a mark on it and the leater is in very good condition for a car of this mileage. It does have a very retro Nokia hands free system fitted. Was always planning on removing but never did.

I have a SERIOUS amount of history with this car, I have many of the old MOTs, Many Volvo main dealer services, Many Volvo specialist services such as Peter Charlwood, Hanish Lindsay, Ron Sealey to name but a few. There are invoices for everything from windscreens to tyres all through her life. I have an original Dealer sales brochure included in the history lovingly stored in a plastic sleeve.

I had a cherished reg and the old girl and in the pictures I have removed the reg, when the log book came back from the DVLA they have re-issued the old registration number of M551 JUT as you can see from the old picture I have included.



















I am asking for £1250 which I think is very reasonable for this car with all the history it has and the condition it's in for it's age and mileage.

It will be advertised elsewhere like Pistonheads but I would like this car to go to an enthusiast really.

Very nice car!
I had an S70R, great car went very well but always wanted a T-5R or R as they looked really good! Good luck with sale im sure someone will be very happy!

I am going to be boring and agree with everybody else that that is a great price for a great car, definately the best colour and gearbox but we're not biased are we, Marty?! lol

I hope soundcriminal gets his Alfa sold and buys into a bit of Volvo history..

Again, lovely car with some good little mods you have done and obviously being a mechanic you have looked after her the correct way, nice one. Just a shame you can't keep her as your second car..

If you are looking to sell the original ecu and one of the Titans I would be VERY interested as the Titan I had as a spare had to be used as one of my refurbs on the car due to the bloody metal valves eating away at the valve guide so desperately looking for a spare Titan, wink wink to the new owner who can't ever use 6 wheels!!! lol
