Removing and re-applying glued parts
Hi, I have got an S60, which I have added the dummy S40 shark fin aerial, however, I am now tempted to move it slightly (stupid I know) and was wondering what the best way to do it was.
It is glued on with the adhesive pad supplied with the part around the perimiter of the hollow shark fin. I have read that a hairdryer and dental floss of similar is the best way to remove it, but what is the best way to re-apply the part with the adhesive? May thanks, Tom

Hi there, I use no-more-nails permanent strips for exterior work which are available from wilko or on a roll from most DIY shops.
Hope this helps

You might find that if you heat it there might be enough sticky to reuse it, if not go to your local motor factors, they should be able to help, i've used stuff by 3M to hold skirts on in the past.
