Modified 2002 S40 T4 for sale
I'm selling my T4 (Vilma) which I've had for 5 and a half years now, here are the details:
52 reg S40 T4 sport lux in Atlantic Blue with cream leather interior 163,000 miles* Taxed until 31 May, MOT until late August *Engine, Turbo and Clutch were replaced at 94,000 miles so have done just under 70,000. The engine was a remanufactured one supplied by Volvo and fitted by MRG Volvo (at a cost of around £4000! ) Alternator, MAF, and many suspension components have also been replaced since the new engine was fitted. The modifications are: Engine: MTE Custom Remap 14T-16G hybrid turbo 200 Cell Race Cat 2.5" Jetex cat back exhaust She has produced around 270-275bhp and 310 lb ft on Powerstations dyno on two separate occasions. Chassis: Bilstein Sports Shock Absorbers Eibach springs (30mmm lower) 17" Wheels with 215/45 Goodyear Eagle F1's (new at the front) Goodridge braided brake hoses, Black diamond pads at the front OMP strut brace Interior: Autometer Oil Pressure, Temperature and Boost Pressure gauges. Full service history (all by MRG since the new engine was fitted) Good bits: Its in excellent condition for the age and mileage, no dents, big scratches or missing pieces of trim and the interior is pretty much perfect. I have receipts for literally thousands spent at MRG over the past few years. Bad bits: Two of the wheels have slight buckles from potholes, only a cosmetic problem but can't be fixed so the only solution would be a new set of wheels. There is currently a boost problem, although the engine is mapped to hit around 1.4 - 1.5 bar in the midrange it is peaking at 1 bar at the moment. I have swapped the Boost Control Solenoid, Turbo Recirculation Valve one of the MAP sensors and tightened the wastegate actuator but no luck so far. I suspect the wastegate actuator itself may need replacing, either that or a boost leak (although the idle is very steady). I think a new wastegate actuator is probably around £70. Looking for £2,000 I'm selling her because I really need a diesel doing 20,000 miles a year, and after 5 years I'd like a change. Also I have always wanted a BMW... Hopefully she can go to a good home rather than being part exchanged, thanks for looking Tim

Can't believe this hasn't sold - an absolute belter. If I hadn't shelled out and committed to my own build, I would have it at the drop of a hat. Hope someone comes along and it sells to someone on here who will treat it as intended. Best of luck.
