200 Series General Forum for the Volvo 240 and 260 cars

did anyone happen to see learners last night on bbc1 at 9pm ?

it was just interesting to see a 240 on tv as nowadays eveyone uses newer crap and not good old cars

I saw it! I knew it was on because I had seen an ad for it a couple of days before and made a mental note to watch it! That torsy was quite nice aswell except for the yellow front wing!

I also taped it cos im sad like that........!

I did take a look as i also saw the add for it...was not in the humour to watch bad driving...though i did notice they must have used more than one volvo...i noticed..(i"m also sad) the two different tailpipes..i pointed this out to the girlfriend and got a blank look!...so i had a couple of whiskeys and turned in...Steve if you taped it you could verify if i was paying far too much attention to the exhaust pipe....and at this point i think i"ll have another whiskey!...cheers hj.

Hi I also watched the program just because of the volvo,not to impressed with how it was portrayed but hey we all know that most of them are easily brought back up to standard.Sadly the desiese that is volvo is catching as both my daughters will sit watching the telly and spot the "volvo" even begining to spot which model it is!and they are not into cars.Amazing how many appear.

When I was a toddler the health visitor was worried about my language skills (or rather lack of them) My mum reassured her that I was OK... I could tell the difference between a Daddy Volvo (a 264 or 244) and a Mummy Volvo (a 343) and didn't get confused with a SAAB or anything else... explains a lot about me that one of my first 10 words was probably Volvo...

i thought i was just being silly when i saw that one a snake like my torslanda and one a straight out one like some of the other voc members cars ive seen

I watched just because of the Volvo but I was disapointed to see the programme was crap so I went to bed.
