Removing indicator relay
My indicators light up but don't flash. Fiddling with the relay gets them working and on previous cars similar problems have been resolved by removing and refitting the relay. The problem is I cannot get the relay out. If you google MB953383 its a relay with a white housing. Does it just pull out? I've tried removing it and it seems keen to stay put. I'm reluctant to pull too hard. On the side of the white housing there are tabs which look like they hold the relay into the housing, hopefully slipping some thin plastic either side should unclip it. I'm sure its simple but its a pig to get to or even see properly and I don't want to damage it or more importantly the board it connects to. There's a single nut holding the board in place but even with this removed the board only pulls down a small amount.
Has anyone got a loose board where they can see how to remove the relay?

If you ca'n't remove it with your hands, just use a large blunt flat blade screwdriver or some long thin nose pliers and just wedge it out. The relay will comes out together with the white plastic base it plugs into.
