Default Dusty centre console

Hi all,

Anyone else notice that their centre console gets dusty very quickly?

I like to clean the inside of my car every couple of weeks and use a Damo microfibre cloth to wipe down most of the interior and use a dry one on the centre console and silver parts to ensure no water marks, but few days later it's covered in dust again.

Anyone else have this issue and anyone got an recommendations to stop it happening (is it static causing it?)

Thanks

Agreed and no. I just use dashboard wipes once a month to wipe the dust away.

Hi, mine gets it too, I use baby wipes and a micro fibre, if there kind enough on a babies bum then they are good for the car. I've used them for years no streaks or stains, or glossy dash ( I hate that). I even wipe the leather down with them. Gets rid of all the little marks and they are cheap as chips.

The wife uses baby wipes for all kinds of things, good on stains etc, she says if they're kind enough for a baby can't do much harm, always has a pack in the house.

Baby wipes are good on leather, I use them on my bike leathers to get the flies off.
On things like the dashboard, computer keyboards etc... I use a soft paintbrush to move the dust around.

I seem to be one of the few that likes the centre console in walnut, that's what I've gone for and I'm hoping it won't show up dust as much!

Yep...I also keep a pack of baby wipes in the car.

I figure that if they are capable of cleaning up the hardest substance known to man.....dried on weetabix.....then they can shift anything on my XC60 !

Can the baby not digest the weetabix, before it passes through?

Thankfully my two kids are well past that stage now but while they were toddlers it used to only be about 50% of their food every made it anywhere near their mouth :0)
