Default Rear seat not folding.

Hi ALL, sorry of this is already been asked. My rear latch in the boot on my S80 2015 one part of the rear seats will not go down. Press the latch number of times and but no joy, it was always been number attempts but this time it won't go down. I wonder if the cable has come off or something.

Thank You.

Mine is the same. I lift the boot, press the boot latch to lower the seats and nothing happens. I know this isn't ideal, but this is what I do...

Go the back seat of the car, unlatch the seats using the latch next to the headrest on whichever side I want to lower and then go back to the boot and push them forward from the boot with a long handle.

If someone is with me, I ask them to unlatch the seats at the rear headrest and I use the handle from the boot whilst they do that. Saves walking around the car. Lol.

I don't know how to fix it. Maybe someone else has had this problem and can help. I don't lower the seats much anyway, so its not as important to me as someone who does. Although, I'd like to know if its an easy fix all the same...

Just carry something long in the boot like a brush handle. Not ideal, but at least you’ll be able to fold them. See my above post that explains what I do.
