Default Need a new battery

My 2010 D5 XC90 battery has finally given up so I need to buy a new one.
Is the Volvo original as below ?

Genuine Volvo Battery
12V 90Ah 800A EN
Part Number 30659800

And am I as well getting a Volvo battery ? If so does anyone know the approx price from the dealers or any online sources ?

Thanks

The genuine Volvo batteries are probably the best you can get, and used to be competitively priced.

If you can't get a decent price - I would got with Bosch S5

Another vote for Tayna batteries. I've just got my main and starter battery from them and the service was spot on. Ordered both one day and and it arrived the next.

I went with a New Evolution Range Exide (017TE) EA1000 One Size £115.99
from https://www.battery2u.co.uk

I see it's £130 now.

100% markup because it has 'Volvo' written on it. That is the only difference it will have from the Bosch/Exide/whoever Volvo buys them from.

Is there anything special I need to consider when replacing the battery ?
