Default XC90 Detachable Towbar - no bumper cut

Does anyone know of a detachable towbar for an 05 XC90 which does not require a bumper cut?

Also I understand that if I don't have my towbar fitted by a Volvo Stealer, I'll need to take the car there for some sort of software update - is this true ?

Thanks Peter.

I just had a case of deja vu and remembered I already asked, and had answered, a similar question previously in the towing forum http://www.volvoforums.org.uk/showth...highlight=cool

Apparently the software update will turn the car fog lights off when the caravan is plugged in to prevent glare on the front of the caravan. Cost is ~£40 +vat.

Someone else also suggested the Witter towbar so I'll go down that route, thanks again.
