v70 p80 speaker upgrade
Hi, I have a question about the sound system of the car. I am currently rocking DD RL-CS6.5's in the front and DD DX6.5a in the back + a dd 612e sub with a D1100 amp in the back all connected to a pioneer SPH-10bt HU.
dx6.5a https://ddaudio.com/d-class/coaxials/dx6-5a/ RL-CS6.5 https://ddaudio.com/set/rl-cs6-5/ The thing is I really don't like how the front speakers are playing and I was wondering how did you connect the speakers when you upgraded them. What I did was this: I took the speaker wires on the car and connected them to the crossover for the components. But the car already has dash tweeters with wires going to them, should I have just connected the new tweeters to the factory wiring and leave the crossover out of the equation? Has anybody fitted a component set up front. Did you use the original Volvo cabling ? Did you run new cabling ? GOTP Last edited by Gotp; Aug 22nd, 2023 at 10:12. |
