I am reluctantly selling a faithful car which has done our family well for the past 16 years, and hope it can go to a good home for another 16 years, I have owned this car since it was 9 months old, previously being a demonstrator in a Volvo Garage.

This is the high Specification SE model 1999 Volvo V70 XC AWD in Nautic Blue Pearl Metallic with a beige leather interior, Petrol, Manual, 164k Miles

- MOT until:20/09/2016, with the following advisory’s
o 002 Nearside Headlamp deteriorated but light output not reduced
o 003 Nearside front suspension arm rubber bush deteriorated but not resulting in excessive movement
o 004 play in steering rack inner joint(s)
- 2 Sets of Keys + Alarm Fobs and the original Service Key
- Full Service History

- TRACS – rare switch, allowing you to turn off the TRACS

- 7-Seats; two rear facing child seats in the rear (rare for this model)

During its life with us, the car has been regularly serviced to Volvo specifications and service intervals, at a franchised dealer until 97,000 miles and then at a local independent Volvo Specialist and has a full service history. I have listed a few of the more major items which have been replaced, always original Volvo parts;

- ABS Module Repaired 136,536
- Air Conditioning Compressor: 136,462
- Radio / CD repaired 131,251
- Throttle Body: 127,897
- Propshaft: 124,044
- Transfer Box: 120,508
- Oil Cooler: 112,943
- Rear Lambda Sensor: 107,838
- Front Lambda Sensor: 91,489

Advisories on the latest service were:
- Steering rack mounting broken on N/S:
o I understand from the Mechanic that this is only the welded joint on the N/S which is very common on these steering racks, the mount itself and the rack which goes through it is all intact, making it just an advisory, as the steering rack is still held in place and not moving. (weld joint shown against a new image of the rack), in the attached Photos
- Both rear brake flexi hoses starting to show webbing
o The rear flexible brake hoses do wear out and this is to let anyone purchasing this know that these would need replacement.

Overall, I believe the car is in “Very Good” condition for its age, with a few minor scratches and a little wear on the driver’s seat. There is an annoying fault with one of the Lambda sensors, which periodically trips the Engine Management light, but neither Volvo (3 separate franchised dealers) nor one independent dealer have been able to find the fault and cannot provide any help apart from replacing the whole exhaust system!

If that is what you want then best not to delay as one owner fsh v70xc's for less than a grand don't come along that often.....

Just my thoughts here... Why so cheap? The car looks to be in very good condition with lots of history. I let my XC70 go nearly 3 years ago, it had 2 previous owners and sold very easily for £1250.00.
If I had the space I'd snap your hand off for it!! Very very few around these days and if they have been looked after and properly maintained they are fantastic cars!
