Tyres: Different makes on rear wheels
Hi guys,
I've recently purchased a second-hand XC90 which had one of the rear tyres replaced for the MOT (before I got it) about 3 weeks ago. I wanted to get the same Goodyear Wrangler HP AllWeather tyre on the other one when after a short trip I've found a nasty nail in the older tyre. The only garage that could help me out at that time was the cursed KwikFit with the only Conti CrossContact available so I didn't had much choice there (and I'va spat out £250 on this ). So the question is - if both have about the same amount of thread left on them should I still replace one of them because of different make and thread design or will that not affect the car and won't do any nasty damage to the drive? Thanks |
