  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Question quick tyre advice...

hi all......


im in the process of getting my nebula 18's on the car & i wanna know which pair of tyres i should stick on the front...

here's what ive ended up with ..

2x 'new' NEXEN N1000, y rated tyres

2x 'used' conti-sport 3, y rated tyres (6mm tread)


which would you stick on the front..??, as its FWD.

Nexen on the front, Conti on the rear. best quality on the rear.

Easier to predict, and control, understeer vs oversteer.
Getting a v70 to lift off understeer would take some serious over enthusiasm though.

Other issue may be under very hard braking. The rear could step out unexpectedly.




Saying that though 99 times out of 100 you'll probably never notice.
