Default gearbox for t4

My gearbox has had a whine for a while and it is getting much worse recently.

Does anyone have a known good gearbox for a 2001 t4. Happy to travel to collect, would just rather get one off someone here than the usual eBay crap!

Cheers
Rich

Have one from a 2002 1.9D with 140k on the clock. I drove it for only 7-8 miles and gear changes seemed to be smooth. Not sure yet if Neanderthal has sorted out his gearbox, but if he does not want it, then you can have it.

You can have it for £45 if you want it. Unless if you are looking for a lower mileage gearbox

Gatos ,i know you like to help but you have to do your homework first!

There are four different gear & final drive ratio`s in the M56 manual box, the Diesel is different from the petrol.

When you get another box you have to get all the letters the same eg: M56L or M56H or whatever the last letter signifies the ratio`s.
