Default 164 headlamp/light wipers

I have never used the ones on my car an I am not sure how to operate them.
Any of you guys have any ideas?
It's not a TE.

Also do you know of any online/pdf 164 service manuals (or is that illegal)?

cheers

if they are the same system as the 240 then they should work when you operate the wash windscreen.

They're wired into the windscreen washers, they don't run continuously.

Don't think so, just washers as far as I remember. There is no interlock.

I tried with the lights and windsceen washer on and nothing happend.
The left one can freely move by hand from the outside.
By slightly turning the pull rod wheel, there is some movement of the arm.

(The headlight rust is due to missing plastic covers)

I always thought that they were in the correct idle position, but on all the other 164s Ive seen, their in the upright position.

Thanks for you replies.
