Default How to check if isofix is installed

I am trying to find out whether the isofix bracket is installed on my 2002 s60 but I can't get the bottom cushion's in the rear off to see underneath if I need to buy and install an isofix bracket?

Not fitted as standard on 2002 models but were an option and can be retrofitted.
If you grab the corner of the seat cushion and give it a sharp tug upwards you might be able to release it.
Otherwise stick your fingers between the seat cushion and seatback near the seatbelt anchor points. If you can feel a pair of steel U-shaped hoops about 12 inches apart then you're sorted!

I just retrofitted 2 of them. Cost me £60 for the parts. Be careful when you remove the back seat...there is 2 metal things that goes to the car flor. It hold in place by plastic bracket that can be easily broken. Just pull the cushion up gently working your way to the bracket from the backrest side and it will go with a click..
I bought the parts from Swansea dealership that is listed here it the different section. Discount code will give you a discount as a forum member.
Don't forget the plastic isofix giude thing...
