Paint Codes
My 'new' top tailgate is currently at the metal magician, having just been sandblasted, and will shortly be off to be painted. However I need to give the paint man the correct colour. The chassis plate gives it as 96 (blue), but does anyone know where I'd be able to find out the corresponding code in the modern paint code systems?
Thanks!

Most good paint companies carry old books so that they can still make up the paint from the old volvo code .

My 144 is 96 blue and the factors I used made me celly equivalent from their system. In fact it was quite amusing reeling off the number to them, I said "96" and hesitated, the chap said "and?" to which I replied "No, that's it." He went and checked his system and there it was, sorted.
