Default V70 D5 185 loss of power sometimes on motorway

Default V70 d5 185 loss of power sometimes at 60mph
Hi all
I've just got a v70 d5 185 and sometimes when on motorway I go to accelerate and have no power at all but speed doesn't drop just no power so I fetal the throttle for a while and she pulls like a train again, I've given it a full service to see if this will cure it but to no avail plugged it in to vida and nothing comes up no codes at all. When it does have lack of power there is no messages or engine management light etc. I'm a bit baffled. Does anyone have any ideas as to what it might be.

Cheers

Turbo inlet pipe collapsing? The rubber softens with passing of time and pinches off inlet air under load.

Check all your turbo hoses for any sign of a tear/hole. Boost leak can feel similar to what you've described & won't throw always throw a code unless the leak is major.

Intercoolers are a known weak point - they bulge & spring a leak. Check for that too. Similar to above.

DPF can throw up a few issues. So I'm told.

Check the resonator box it has two rubber inserts one at either end.
These could be split.

Have a look at my thread. I had similar symptoms, it would lose power and then be ok after letting the accelerator off or couple of seconds.
