EGR valve position is ok.
EGR error very often shows 99%, probably bug in the app. But the swirl is stuck. I don't know how to fix it. EMAP pipe is clogged, check out this YT video: https://youtu.be/mkWnEGNUdsY |

The EGR should be thoroughly cleaned, probably clogged as most VEA engines.

And to clarify my slightly hasty error code recollection - these were the two regular ones:
ECM-00BC00 No match (this didn't throw the check engine light but seems to be the EMAP causing lumpy low speed running and reduced engine performance warning) ECM-P200977 Intake Manifold Runner Control Circuit Low (Bank 1) - Mechanical Failures - Commanded position not reachable (this would trigger occasionally when giving it power and then easing off, linked to swirl flap position I believe - sometimes the CEL would go out after several uses of the car but never quite obvious why!) Hope this helps someone! |
