Volvo S40 2.0 Sport Lux 2004 model 55k
Due to a change to a V70 R I am selling my Volvo S40 Sport lux.
The car is in Silver with factory colour coded bumpers and off black leather interior, the car is also completely un-modified in any way. What it has... The S40 has the now rare Arcadia 17" alloys, with new Uniroyal Rainsport 3tyres on the front (less than 500 miles) and Continental SC2's on the rear which are roughly half way through there life. High performance amplified sound system Original foot matts with boot tray. Electric drivers seat Two remote key fobs I have owned the car for nearly 6 months and have had no issues with the car, this is my second S40. The VVT is functioning as normal and the car had a cambelt change last year. The car has been serviced every year since new, I have history from FRF Volvo and other dealers. The car has 55k Miles on the clock and was last serviced at 52k. The MOT runs out in September and TAX until June. I was surprised with the condition of the car when I purchased it last year it is immaculate, there's the odd stone chip as expected but nothing which stands out. There isn't much else to say about the car as its in great condition, I may add that there are no suspension knocking noises or signs of wear. I am asking for £2500 ONO. Pictures to follow. Sounds nice and pretty well priced for low mileage! Good luck!

Not sure what the price is for £2000+ but my £500 listing was £14.99 which I thought was pretty reasonable for a classified ad.
PS if I remember right, someone managed to sell one of these for £4000 recently (it did have some extra bits) so maybe aim a little higher at first...

My advice, just stick it on eBay as a Classified ad, at a silly (but justifiable) price, and allow "Best Offers", auto-reject below your base minimum you'd accept, leave it up for a while (you get 30 days anyway), and don't back down at the first offer, unless it's really a lot more than you were hoping. As I say I've seen low milers go for £4000+
Oh, and don't forget to state it's "advertised elsewhere" and be fully prepared to accept a cash offer if someone has a look and is carrying a wad of notes with them, it'll save you a good chunk in eBay fees.

No way. No one is stupid enough to pay 4k for an s40. I mean this in the nicest way, as I think they are great cars...but 4k...that's newer better car money. Nice car though.

Thanks for the info guys, I have listened this time and stuck the car on eBay as a classified add at 3k accepting offers. Ideally need the car gone within the week but no huge rush! Going to miss it but going to love the V70R!
