Volvo 340 CVT
The yoke holding the release bearing on my volvo 340 CVT automatic have slipped of on one side (check picture) Do I have to remove the flywheel housing to fix this problem or is it enough to disassemble the driveshaft where it meets the flywheel housing in order to fix this problem?

Ahh! there is a plastic cup around the metal ball pivot to reduce friction , they wear and fall out .

I am not sure tbh, it might be. I know that one of the yoke arms around the release bearing is loosened up. When removing the bellhousing, can I do it with only car ramps? Or do I have to remove the engine completely?

yes on car ramps on all four wheels is best , you will need to support the engine whilst you remove the rear engine mount brackets and ring of bolts ...
