Electrics: 850: - SRS Light stuck on

I recently hit a big pot hole in the road which has brought my SRS warning light on. Can anyone tell me if I can reset this light myself as my car doesnt have the push buttons/LED`s in the engine compartment (fault code readout display) it just has a multi plug near the gear stick inside the car. Any advise would be welcome. Thanks.

Have you tried disconnecting the battery for 10 minutes or so (remembering your radio code) and reconnecting.
