Car required
Hi All,
I need some help. Lost my dad 12 months ago, and have moved my mum nearer to me rather than 200 miles away! And boy can she spend money at asda! Jeeez food galore! Looking for either a diesel Volvo or a T5. Estate preferable, as at a max I will need to transport 4 adults, one 11 year old with attitude and a dog that sleeps! Dont have much to spend though - £1000 - 1500. Could go higher for the right car. Age not really a problem. I just want a great car, not a dog, that will go to a loving home. Not something that is being got rid of due to problems! Did view a diesel 850 tonight, and was impressed with the econ section of the computer. So this might wave me. Although upsetting boy racers in a T5 is very very tempting! Right drivel over with. I am in Swindon. My dad used to be a member with a 244DL saloon PAD47Y! Nice car. Remembered you all were great people, so thought of signing up and asking you all first. Anyone got anything? Chris |

v70 diesel
Hi I would go for the early v70 diesel, The fuel economy of diesel is almost double that of the t5.
I have both a 850 t5r and v70 diesel, but you really need a car you can use all the time, The diesels feel quick with a lot of torque! |

V70
OK,
Anyone know where I might be able to look at a V70 diesel? A local dealer near me has a new style 2001 version with "Hips" for rear panels so to speak. 2.4 petrol though, and the onboard message system says that the emissions module needs servicing. 111K 2 owners and £1700 140BHP but not at all fast. |
